Password Lock Your Android Smartphone From Another Smartphone

We all want our smartphone should be secure thus we put screen, password, pattern and other security  locks to our smartphone to protect from hacking. so guys have you imagined that we can put a password lock on  smartphone without using that smartphone, if you have not imagined than let me tell you guys that it's true that we can put a password lock on our android smartphone without using that particular smartphone( the phone which you like to lock with  password).

but it will apply only if that android smartphone isn't locked at present. so whenever you lost your smartphone you can set a password lock on that smartphone so that all your personal data gets secured.

How it works?

You can manage your android smartphone through Android Device Manager where you can also set a password lock to you android smartphone if your phone is not locked with any security lock.

here I will guide you for this, let's see how it works step by step

• Go to Android Device Manager  and log in with your Gmail accounts email & password(Which you are using on your present android smartphone device)

• Then you will see your own device image which you are using at present , and on which you like to put a password lock.

• Then you will see 3 option Ring, Lock, Erase and below you will see your device image. as you can see in the below screenshot image which is my device moto g4 plus. you will see your own device there.

• Click the lock option you will see a password lock form fro where you can set a password on your android smartphone. as you can see in the below image after successful apply.

( Note: It will apply password only when your smartphone is not locked with any password key)

So, through this way, you can set a secure password key. to your android smartphone

It detects your phone as soon as you login to the android device manager with your Gmail id which you are using on the smartphone. actually  its detects the android smartphone to which your Gmail id is registered at present than it shows that device on the Android Device Manager dashboard as you can see in the above screenshot image.

Other Features Of Android Device Manager

There are other various features from which you can manage your android device without using your device

• Location Tracking

Location tracking but it required GPS enabled on lost phone, so it uses GPS detector to find your Android smartphone location,

It detects your lost phone it will show you through google maps where your device is but it requires GPS enabled on your device.

• Ring Your Android Device On Silent Mode

Yes, you heard the right you can Ring your smartphone without using your own device through android device manager.
